"If your eye is generous your whole being is full of light!" Jesus

Water droplets in a spider web over ferns. Notice how the ferns are focused in each drop. The water of life. Jesus promised wells of living water springing up in us when we surrender our selfish selves and  embrace our Child of God being. In a desert culture, that was an amazing promise. Think of it. The promise of living water flowing from each of us, to water the world we live in...to bring life to those around us. And that is what the generous eye sees. In every direction, in every person, at least the potential for a spring of the spirit, bubbling up, overflowing. And how much gratitude do we feel, should we feel, when those around us overflow with living water...how deep our gratitude when can see ourselves overflowing? We, the children of God, are a constellation of living water drops suspended in this world...and that is what the generous eye sees. A thing of beauty.
