What is written in the ice? Happy Sunday!

I have always been fascinated by the way ice melts, especially, as here in this image, along the edges where contact with grasses and vegetation lead to fine filigrees in classical curves. It always reminds me of writing...old copperplate script...not any writing I am capable of, but my father had such a hand, learned over many hours of practice in a small rural school in upstate New York. 

And of course my Father has such a hand...God the loving creator lavishes time and energy on leaving us such subtle messages of beauty in the melting ice. The message is clear to those with eyes to see...generous eyes...and the message is one of light and love. Happy Sunday!
